you don’t typically learn in school, but is so valuable for kids growing up who want to have a
secure financial future and the ability to achieve their dreams, whether that’s a new car, a home
or launch a business as an entrepreneur. Though money management certainly can be
complicated, intimidating and challenging, “Smart Money” takes you through the steps, from
busting money myths, to the importance of budgeting, to affording college without the weight of
‘never-pay-off’ student loans, to strategies for making money and investing, and how to set up a
secure financial future. I thought selecting a narrator with a youthful voice added credibility - that
the author understands the stage of life that young adults are in and the multitude of choices
they are confronted with, all while emphasizing how essential it is for them to understand the
basics of good financial management. Recommended reading for young adults!
