Ethan & Zeke!
After the cliffhanger Claudia Burgoa left me with in the first book of this duet, I wasn't sure my heart could handle more. But I love her, so I dove in head first and I am so glad I did. She delves into the hearts of Ethan and Zeke, their deepest fears and passions. It's chock full of relevant issues that these two face full force, learning to cope and deal with past insecurities and current afflictions. It's easy to fall into, as the scenes are incredibly realistic and broke my heart and then put the pieces back together. Both characters are broken, and working through all their issues is a lifetime commitment. Ethan begins his journey of self worth, letting go the negativity and understanding that he is a good man. He stands by Zeke through thick and thin. Zeke has so much to deal with, as he learns to cope with his addiction and that he too is worthy of love. Masterfully plotted and beautifully told, Burgoa gives an amazing account of real life and true love. It's a fantastic duet.
And making it even better is the emotionally driven narration by JF Harding and Aaron Shedlock. Ethan is steadfast and true to Zeke, and Harding brings all his feelings to the surface. He knows exactly where he wants to be and we can hear his patience and love. Breaking my heart, Shedlock performs his best with emotional scenes as Zeke. He keeps him real, no sugar coating and lets us into Zeke's journey to happiness. It's a fantastic pairing and wonderful listen.

Amazing Story & Narration🎧 Beautiful & Heartfelt!
Claudia Burgoa ripped my heart out of my chest and tore it into a million pieces with the ending of the first book of the “Second Chance Sinners” Duet, “Pieces of Us”, you need to read or listen to that book before this one to get the most of out these character’s story. And after that mind-blowing ending, it is best to not spoil anything for this book and go in knowing as little as possible and with your eyes, mind, and heart wide open. I adored these characters, despite their flaws or maybe because of those flaws, and it elated me when they finally got their act together, first for themselves and then for each other. Ms. Burgoa created something very special with this great band of characters and I loved how she weaves her character from other series into her books. Thank you for another amazing story and epic conclusion, it is a wild and emotional rollercoaster ride that is definitely worth hanging on for, a story that will stay with me for a very long time.
🎧📚🎧 And the amazing narration continues with JF Harding and Aaron Shedlock at the mic bringing these characters and story to life. Their character voices have been consistent throughout the duet and the quality of their audio has been top-notch. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture the character’s emotions and project them into their performance, making you feel every single one. Their voices and performances complemented each other’s and their talent truly shined. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen.
