If you come after reading the Thrawn trilogy, be advised it is different. This book is more focused on intrigue and politics. Still, even though it is different, it is an excellent read and a great book that has been given the perfect narrator. It is a full-blown radio drama at this point.

I have read this book several times when it came out and it was so good to have high quality expanded universe content.

Too bad it's not canon, because this would've been an epic 2 part movie, maybe even a series.

Marc is brilkiant as always and it's getting harder for me to listen to other narragors since Marc throws in so many different characters with his amazing voice acting that his books are more of a radio drama then just a narrator reading a book.

Off to Visions of the Future now.

Everything Zahn writes is highly recommended because he's truly amazing writer. And having Marc Thompson on board is just adding to the whole awesomeness of it.

brilliant listen to another great story by Timothy Zhan cannot wait to download vision of the future

fantastic just as I remember it from the book

Well that was fun & a lovely catch up with the characters from Zahn's Thrawn trilogy. No with added diplomatic intrigue.

I'm not a big fan of audio books with special effects, but these are actually done well & sparingly, the narrator's imitation of Harrison Ford's voice as Han is actually very well done. So I enjoyed the story, I enjoyed how it was produced & im off to listen to the conclusion.
