Another Hit
Eastern is an attorney who is focused on his job. His goal is to become a partner in the firm. He thinks that he has everything he needs. He plays pickleball with his brothers and life is good. Until his boss asks him to mentor his daughter, Henley Holloway. And he was not ready for the feelings that she brought out of him.
Henley just graduated law school. She is going to work for her dad’s firm and doesn’t expect to be treated any differently. But the guy that her father made her mentor, ‘the shark’ is not taking it easy on her. From the moment they met he has sort of judged her because of who her father is.
But soon it seems like Henley is winning him over. They develop a fun back and forth banter type of relationship, but soon it turns into something so much more…
Henley was just the right person for someone like Easton. He seemed to focus on his career and seemed like he took life to serious. Henley made him see life differently and that there is more to life than work. I loved how their relationship developed and how they interacted with each other.
The narration was awesome. I haven’t had an Andi Arndt narration in a while, and it definitely was good listening to her again. Connor Crais has been added to my favorite lists and the two together were chemistry overload 😊
I was sad when I got to the end of Magnolia Falls, but this one definitely made up for it, and I can’t wait for the next one in this new series 😊

This book captured my heart from the very beginning. I’m so obsessed and in love with Henley & Easton! You know how you read/listen to a book that you love so much and lose yourself in, that stays with you days, weeks, even months after? Well, this book has done that. I can’t seem to stop thinking about it.
Easton works hard, keeps to himself a lot and struggles with a past that follows him around and haunts him. He’s a very closed off, moody and stand-offish man that really only has one vision… Work. He is extremely committed to his job. However welcome in Henley, the woman is breath of fresh air and such a spitfire, yet such a sweetheart too. It’s hard not to love her.
Sit back, relax, maybe grab some chocolate and a glass of wine and read watch their journey unfold and their love blossom. It’s breathtaking.
This book had it all. I couldn’t get enough. Amazing characters with hilarious banter. The gossip in this small town was THE BEST and it had me trying to figure out who was behind.
I highly recommend this book. It’s the first in Laura’s new series and it was absolutely amazing. She did not disappoint. She never does!

A beautiful small town romance
Another banger from the Queen of small town romance, Laura Pavlov has done it again with this amazing dislike to lovers, work place romance!!
Henley and Easton were absolute perfection. There was tension from the moment the two met, Easton was a bit harsh at first and considered Henley to be a nepo kid but once he got to know her better and the romantic attraction between them grew you could really see how well his character developed.
There’s a super emotional backstory which was a little different to Laura’s other books and I really enjoyed that. The series sets up what other characters will appear in the following books as well as what I assume is an overarching plot line with the Gossip Girl/Lady Whistledown style small town column. Can’t wait to find out who is behind the Taylor Tea!
This book was narrated by Connor Crais who I absolutely LOVE and Andi Ardnt another amazing narrator. They both brought the characters to life very well and made the audiobook very enjoyable!

Healing and Hope <3
I really enjoyed Easton as a side character in Beating Heart so getting a full story for him is great. I love the throwbacks and cameos from LP's previous series. Henley and Easton definitely have a rocky start, but she quickly puts him in his place, proving his first assumptions about her false. There are some really great relationship building moments in this story and I love how fiercely proud of Henley he is.
I loved the duet narration in this. Andi and Connor both have very soothing voices and their performances are very complimentary. Easy transitions in their conversations making the audio feel very natural. Beautiful job :-)

It completely stole my heart!
Laura Pavlov’s Magnolia Falls series is possibly my favourite ever contemporary romance series, so I was so excited when she announced this cross over series to fill the ride-or-die crew hole in my life! And boy did she deliver! Steal My Heart is a small town, enemies to lovers, boss’ daughter, workplace romance featuring Easton Chadwick, Emerson’s twin brother who we met in Beating Heart.
I absolutely devoured this one and couldn’t get enough of the tension, snarky banter and hilarious Chadwick family group chats! Easton and Henley were perfection together. I loved their grumpy x sunshine dynamic and how Henley won Easton (and everyone around her) over with her kindness, light and commitment. Henley was patient and kind but she wasn’t afraid to call out Easton on his hot and cold behaviour towards her and to want better for herself. My heart broke for Easton as he struggled to cope with his strong feelings for Henley, brought on by his past trauma and I just wanted to give him a hug! I can’t resist a ‘he falls first’ storyline and Easton falls HARD for Henley, despite his better judgement! It gave me butterflies how ‘in’ he was with their relationship once he got over his initial blockers and he was Henley’s biggest cheerleader and protector – things that Henley had never had before. They were so sweet together and their chemistry was FIRE!
Laura really does write the best characters, and I loved getting to know the other Chadwicks and I even got my Beefcake fix when he came to visit with Emerson and Nash.
This is only the second duet narration audio book I’ve listened to and it was everything! Connor Crais and Andi Arndt are two of my favourite narrators, and they nailed this one. They brought Easton and Henley to life expertly and the duet narration made this a really immersive experience. The banter, drama and romance felt ‘more’ in this style, so I was cackling one minute and blushing the next!
Packed full of romance, banter, family and a little bit of heartbreak, this one completely stole my heart! If you listen to one audio book this month, make it this one!

Great start to a new series!
This is now my third series I've listened to of Laura's, and I keep coming back for more because the stories are always a good time! I loved Henley and Easton. When I found out it was Easton mentoring the boss's daughter, I knew it was going to be great! The chemistry and banter between them were amazing, and Connor Crais and Andi Arndt captured this perfectly. I loved Easton's grump to Henley's sunshine. The way he challenges her and she fights right back. It's just brilliant. Both of them have pasts they need to work through, and the way they do it together and communicate was so refreshing. Another bonus is getting to meet the Chadwick family, who were so fun and seeing the other men who will be getting their own stories. I can't wait!

Take Me To Rosewood River!
𝙻𝚊𝚞𝚛𝚊 𝙿𝚊𝚟𝚕𝚘𝚟, you have done it again! You have taken amazingly chiseled characters, added banter, chemistry and captivating plot lines and given us a great start to a new series! I couldn't get enough of Easton & Henley!
We met Easton in 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, so I was super excited we got to get his story! And, it was an adventure for sure! Loved the push and pull between him and Henley, who is the boss's daughter and just started working for his firm. The chemistry between them is incredibly undeniable and when things heat up, they heat up!
𝐶𝑜𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑟 𝐶𝑟𝑎𝑖𝑠 lent his voice to Easton and nailed it! From Easton's tragic past to his banter with Henley, 𝐶𝑜𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑟 did phenomenally! 𝐴𝑛𝑑𝑖 𝐴𝑟𝑛𝑑𝑡 is one of my favs for female narrators and she did amazingly with Henley. The wit, the sass, the way Henley was with Easton was beautifully brought to life through 𝐴𝑛𝑑𝑖'𝑠 voice. Perfect pairing!
𝙻𝚊𝚞𝚛𝚊 𝙿𝚊𝚟𝚕𝚘𝚟 has given us a small town, enemies to lovers story that will instantly pull you in. Her writing style is captivating, her characters steal your heart (pun intended!), and you get so many emotions with her stories! I can't wait for the next 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 installment!

Wonderful Romance.
I loved this book.!!..This is going to be another FANTASTIC series from Laura Pavlov.
Steal My Heart just stole mine because I absolutely love small town romance they are such a comfort to me,and I am in love with Rosewood River...They even have their own gossip paper The Taylor Tea,there is a mystery around who is writing it and spilling all the gossip on the town.
Easton Chadwick and Henley Holloway's romance is a workplace,enemies to lovers,bosses daughter story.
The Chadwicks are a really big deal in this town,and there is a link with The Magnolia Falls series by Easton whose twin sister is Emerson who lives in Magnolia Falls with her man Nash and his son Cutler/beefcake.
I recommend you read The Magnolia Falls series also.
Well back to this book.... Just out of Law School Henley has a position in her father's Law firm,were Easton Chadwick is assigned as her Mentor.
Easton is not Happy about this he totally misjudges Henley before even meeting her.He thinks she is a spoilt brat who doesn't have to work for her spot in the company, because she is the bosses daughter.
He is grumpy,moody and sarcastic with her, as they don't get off to a good start because Henley spills hot coffee all over his clean crisp white shirt.
After that EVERYTHING she does seems to just annoy the hell out of him,it doesn't help that she is so beautiful and everyone else in the office loves her.
Henley is angry that Easton has judged her and she puts him in his place she worked hard for her place in the company and she would not let him ruin it for her...Why did he have to be so Gorgeous.!!!
For two people who annoy eachother they cannot stop thinking about one another...Until one night they bond over ...wait for it...PICKLEBALL.!!..
The chemistry between them seems to just get stonger as the weeks go by so eventually they agree to ONE night of passion..But one night is just not enough,they both crave more and try to act normal afterwards...they are super hot and steamy ..
Easton doesn't do relationships after a tragic past with his previous relationship..and Henley has her own hang ups about relationships because of a lonely childhood she has abandonment issues....and has no sense of having a close family..Easton's family is loving and huge.
I LOVE ALL the Chadwicks from the parents to the brothers and cousins they are all funny,sweet and protective they are all there for one another.
I love the group text between them all as they wind eachother up but also give advice when need etc..It is so entertaining.
The Family vibes in this book makes my heart warm and happy.
Now I listened to the Audiobook of Steal My Heart and the Narration was perfection.
The Amazing Andi Arndt portrays Henley wonderfully,Andi is always brilliant you know she will give 100% whenever she is playing the characters she is acting out...I love her and she never disappoints.
The magnificent Connor Crais portrays Easton and I just Love him..Connor can do no wrong in my eyes I always enjoy listening to him as he is just fabulous no matter what he is acting out..He is excellent at comedy,angst,emotion and has the grumpiness of Easton's character perfectly.
I enjoyed listening to both Andi and Connors performances.
Laura Pavlov has written another sensational story which will belong to another excellent series that I cannot wait to read more of.
I LOve the small towns Laura creates and Rosewood River is going to be another small town we can all swoon over along with those Chadwick boys..

This is the way to start the year!
This is the way to start the new year! A new series by Laura Pavlov with a cameo by the wise one, none other than Beefcake! Yes, this made my day. Easton is a lawyer, looking to climb to the top, and get his name on the wall. That's his main focus until his boss brings in his daughter for Easton to mentor. Henley is brilliant in her own right, but it takes a bit to win over Easton. Not only is she a fantastic, up and coming lawyer, but there is something about her he can't resist. But she is the boss's daughter. Will that get in the way? Easton has huge obstacles to overcome, and his need to keep Henley close and safe is the only way he can get through life. How does it all play out? This is the book you need to buy. The banter between these two is key and the chemistry explosive. The tie to Magnolia Falls is perfect, giving us the sage advice from Beefcake. And the Chadwick family is one I need to know better. Can't wait for more.
Connor Crais is broody Easton, and he plays this broken man to a "T". Each scene is spot on with inflection and emotions. Match him up with Andi Arndt as Henley and it's the perfect narration. She is smart and confident as Henley, bringing out all the best in her. I loved these two and enjoyed their narration.

Amazing workplace romance
My favourite Laura Pavlov book! I love a workplace romance and even better when both main characters are amazing at their job, so smart, so driven! I love a strong FMC and this book delivered. I loved Easton too and the narrators for both characters were fantastic. What an amazing start to this new series. I could not stop listening to this book. The banter between the characters was great. I loved the fact she was his bosses daughter, I loved how it dealt with the aftermath of grief so realistically and sensitively. I love how we got to see some familiar faces from Magnolia Falls series. Highly recommend
