Peace and love, well not quite as this book is packed full of daring rescues, adventure and history. This book is slightly shorter than the other books, it being a novella, which I don't normally like as you just start to get into the story and then it ends abruptly but that is not the case with this book. It hooks you in with the first couple of lines and doesn't let go until the end and it feels like a full adventure. This story being set closer to this era than any of the others was easier to imagine with things like explaining how to use an old fashion telephone boxes etc (something the younger generation wouldn't know) and definitely a lot more names that I recognised, I might have even had my dad's Beatles records playing in my head while I read. A real snapshot of everything happening in England at that time, come on England! The characters were once again a big reason why I liked the book, the situations they find themselves in and how they get out of it is great and very clever. Definitely a magical mystery tour for any age.
The museum time machine is starting to play up again but as non of the children have gotten sick they don't know what is needed to fix it, all they have is a starting point, four tickets to see the last show the Beatles ever preformed and a cafes name. The cafe leads the twins Robert, James and there sister Lucy to separate from there uncle and join the Rainbow people where they each have to discover there own paths to take. Uncle Archie falls fowl of the law in trying to pick up the siblings trail again and it is up to the children to save not only there uncle but also themselves and there new found friends.
The narrator is once again excellent and I hope she sticks with the series. She even had to do accents in this book which were amusing.
