As a homesteader myself, I didn't think I would learn much - but I was wrong!
I have been gardening and raising chickens for years, but I appreciated the section on raising small livestock like goats, as I always thought it was too overwhelming. The author did a good job of explaining the benefits of using modern technology, in addition to traditional homesteading skills. Overall, I would recommend this book to anyone interested in backyard homesteading in the city.

This book on homesteading is amazing. The author has thought of everything from gardening when you have a small apartment, beekeeping, keeping livestock to raising chickens whether you have a huge backyard or a small one and so much more!!

I love the style of writing, the information is presented in a simple, easy to understand style and the narrator has done a great job too!

Definitely recommend it anyone thinking about becoming self-sufficient!

Well I liked this audiobook, I am moving from an apartment to my first house with backyard so I wanted to know more about utilisation of backyards.

The author explain about utilisation of backyards, raising hens there or planting. I personally enjoyed listening to this and learned tons of knowledge.

this book has everything you need to get started. as the author highlights you can grow something pretty much anywhere - even in your small flat!

In this book you will learn everything you need to get started: soil requirements, light requirements, most common issues and how to overcome them, succession planting, etc etc

same goes for raising chickens, goats, ducks, etc. all info and things to consider are discussed.

Overall, great combo of info you need to get going with your garden, I'm excited for the spring so I can get planting!
