A Very Silly Book
In the opening chapter the author airs his great annoyance that liberal universities these days have the audacity to teach their students to approach biblical studies with an open mind. This, then, might fairly be considered "the closed minded" interpretation of the bible.
There follows an immense amount of cross referencing in which the author, to support his own views, sites numerous texts including many that the academic world near universally considers to be forgeries (Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus and others). The author won't tell you that the books he wants to site are probably forgeries though. Presumably he doesn't want to encourage and of that open-mindedness he finds so unsettling.
You're much better off buying something by Bart Ehrman, finding Dale B. Martin's lectures on the internet, or downloading anything in The Great Courses lecture series on audible.
