Heart warming seasonal joy!

Where does Texas Christmas rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I love that each audio book quickly becomes the voice of the narrator, thereby making every one or series very different. I love them all.

What other book might you compare Texas Christmas to, and why?

I try not to compare one book or series against another and enjoy each one in its own right. This is a series so the characters in each book just grow and mature with each telling.

What about Sean Crisden’s performance did you like?

Sean Crisden does an excellent job as the Texas cast and more recent books have been read with his voice in my head. I love the subtle changes he makes to each voice, so that character recognition is easy.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Definitely a one sitting listen if that’s possible. For me it took a few days

Any additional comments?

This series is an auto buy for me in both book and audio form and I look forward to the rest being released.

Great story and narration.

I read the first book in this series years ago and find that I still love the characters. Even though Jack and Riley have been together for years now, it was great to see that they still love one other and are as passionate about each other as always.

I never thought about them being parents, but Ms Scott has included and developed this part of the story brilliantly. As a book, Texas Christmas was an easy read, with a beautifully written storyline. The story develops organically, and it made sense that Jack and Riley's family would expand. It encompasses those who work for them and in this book, everyone rallies around one of their own, who is in trouble.

The story is all about friendship, love and trust. New proposals are made to move the ranch forward. A lot of loose ends are wrapped up.

As much as I enjoyed reading the book, the audio version is even better. Sean Crisden is a first class narrator and brings the characters to life. Very highly recommended.
