Summary
The Automatic Millionaire starts with the powerful story of an average American couple (he's a low-level manager, she's a beautician), whose joint income never exceeds $55,000 a year, who somehow manage to own two homes debt-free, put two kids through college, and retire at 55 with more than $1 million in savings. Through their story you'll learn the surprising fact that you cannot get rich with a budget! You must have a plan to pay yourself that is totally automatic, a plan that will automatically secure your future and pay for your present.

Brilliant!
The steps outlines sound so simple yet has life changing impact. If only everyone can simply just wake up and take back control, things would be so different for us all. I have started to take control of my finances and here's to being an automatic millionaire!

Great book, only thing I'd say is a lot of concepts were US based, not sure if there's a uk version

Great book but is more geared towards US audience
If you could sum up The Automatic Millionaire in three words, what would they be?
Simple, concise and persuasive
Which scene did you most enjoy?
The Latte Factor - All that coffee is costing you a fortune. Save your money by cutting down or bring in your own!
Any additional comments?
This is a good book but it is mainly gear towards US audience. Although there are aspect of the book that others will find useful such as setting up an automated bank transaction each month to help save a percentage of your pay into a saving account (you can't spend what you don't see) So many people know this but so many people fail to do so and tend to spend all their hard earn money. Make sure you pay yourself first!

Good book, let down by a few personal bugs.
This book was recommended to me, it is good as are the principles which are similar to other books such as Rich Dad Poor Dad, however, this is in more detail. For me the advice given is great and will benefit me, however, as a UK person, there is a lot of information that is irrelevant such as all the phone numbers, companies names and websites. I would have much preferred this to have been an attachment that was referenced rather than listen to 15+ phone number and email addresses. There are sections of the book towards the end that the sentences don’t finish and it seems to skip. Other than this it’s a great book.

A must read for BEGINNERS to money management
An excellent book for beginners to managing their money. Covers lots of common sense methods that most people miss. A couple of chapters are USA specific but still good for anyone who struggles with money or has just got their first job.

Took a while to get into but the message is simple
It took me a few chapters to get into this book the underlying message and repetition of the message works along with the stories.

Great book to get started with.
This is the first book i ever listened to with audible. it was trully worth listening to. I live in the UK and still find a lot of what he is saying very relevant.
I learnt so much from this book and plan to listen to it again in case i missed anything.
