Summary

Meet Brady Hawk.

Former Navy SEAL. Former Peace Corps worker. Current blacks ops assassin.

To those with the highest security clearance, it's a line item known only as Project X. But to the half-dozen agents and personnel working for it, it's known as Firestorm, a black ops group so dark that the US president doesn't even know about them yet. And no agent is as skilled as Brady Hawk.

This box set includes First Strike, Deep Cover, and Point of Impact.

Brady Hawk books 1-3

It was a good pass the time narrative. Quite a few holes and jumps in the story. The narration suited the story. Overall, an enjoyable listen.

Terrorist be afraid

I enjoyed this non stop action adventure and what's even better with this three book box set it doesn't have to end. I don't normally like box set but if I do have one to listen to I break the books up and listen to something different inbetween, so I don't get the stories confused or get through them to quickly. But that wasn't the case with this set as the books didn't exactly end on a cliff hanger but I wanted to see what the author has in store for the characters next. Each book is told by multiple characters as the story unfolds but this works well as you know what both sides are up to. There is plenty of action to keep each book interesting and with all good spy books you are never sure who to trust, or who the good guys are (other than the main character Hawk and his computer analyst Alex). Off to start the next box set.
FIRST STRIKE, Book 1. I enjoyed this book and before it ended I was getting the next box set but I think this was the weakest book in the set because it just came to an end and I got confused with all the foreign name whether Hawk got his man.
Hawk a former Navy seal and former Peace Corps worker is now working for firestorm a government black ops group run by Senator Blunt. Hawk, with the aid of his computer analyst or handler Alex, is on the the trail of Ghazi, the chief bomb maker for the terrorist group Al Hasib in the hopes of stopping him before he can set off another attack. But Hawk is betrayed and must find his own way out of a hostile country. Back at home things aren't much better and someone is making plays to take down firestorm. Can Alex get Hawk back home or is he on his own?
DEEP COVER, Book 2 This was my favourite book as I really liked the story line and characters in this one.
Hawk is going under cover on a safari hunt in order to get close to the man that owns a diamond mine that he is using to help fund terrorist and could be the possible owner of a stolen nuclear weapon. With time running out and a collapse in the mind is Hawk about to become the hunted? Back home Alex and the Senator are once again the focus of a group trying to take firestorm down.
POINT OF IMPACT, Book 3
After the big shame up in the firestorm organisation things are back to normal but this time things get personal for Hawk when a sleeper cell for Al Hasib sets it sights on a US target. An ex girlfriend's father gets killer in a boating accident but Hawk doesn't believe it. Then firestorm receives word that the man Hawk believed was his father is a target. Hawk is to late to stop him from getting kidnapped but will be be to late to stop a bomb going off? Or to rescue him?
I liked the narrator, he did some good accents throughout the three books. I especially like his New Zealand accent in book two.

A great read , v good value.

Characters move at speed to defeat terrorists. Very relevant to today. Plots are well written. The narrator builds momentum and adds to enjoyment of each book.

I really wanted to read the next book each time I finished one. I am looking forward to the next set.

Well worth it.
