Summary
You’ll judge me.
Hate me and tell me I’m wrong.
Refuse to see how my darkness is what she needs.
While I don’t particularly care about your feelings in the matter, and while I pursue her despite the wedding bells that rang for another, only I can see how she is drowning beneath mediocrity.
How many times must I remind her?
It can’t matter that I am the person who ruined her life.
The man who killed her father.
The constant shadow that watches her sleep.
The lover who prefers dirty alleyways to freshly laundered sheets.
She’s mine. Always has been.
I'm the worst thing for her, yet I’m the only salvation she knows.
He had his chance to make her happy. He failed. He didn't see how she was dying inside because he couldn't know her. Not like I know her.
I am her stalker.
Her protector.
And the only man that can bring her back to life.

Fantastic!
I was reticent about reading a stalker book because of the obvious 'uncomfortability' of a stalker-assassin scenario. But Lily White maneuvers this tricky subject matter with expertise, and somehow convinces you to put your morals aside for a minute, although your eyes are bugging out with all the creepy things Ari gets up to.
Ari unashamedly is no hero, he's not even a good person and never claims to be. He's a scary twisted bad boy stalker, with a sinister controlling alpha nature, and a strong calling to protect Adeline because of their shared past. Adeline on the other hand is a damaged party-hard train-wreck of a person, who takes no prisoners and self-sabotages her way through life with no regrets....or so she thought. When maturity pulls at her psyche to turn her life around, she gets married to a stand up type of guy who ticks all the boxes. But married life for her takes on a whole new meaning and she soon finds herself in a desperate situation. However, nobody hurts Ari's precious Adaline and anyone who does.....!
This was a brilliantly intense and unique book, rich in danger, suspense, spice and dark shadowy corners you can't help but look into. The two narrators did an amazing job at bringing these characters to life. I'll definitely be looking out for more of their and Lily's books in the future.

WOW!! SO GOOD!!!
Lily White is an incredibly gifted, creative and daring author, and I absolutely adore her stories and characters. The Danger You Know definitely made it to my all-time favourite books; I was enthralled from the start to the very end. The storyline is deliciously dark, raw, twisted, gritty, intense, riveting, suspenseful, and steamy packed with unpredictability. The premise speaks for itself and is beyond intriguing. Ada Sinclair and James Cassidy did a marvellous job with the narration, capturing the essence of the characters and breathing life into them. They flawlessly portrayed the complexity of Ari and Adeline's personalities, emotional depth, and intense connection. If you're a fan of dark and twisted romance, The Danger You Know is the best stalker romance and the one I'm highly recommending.
Ps. If I could give it more than five stars, I would.

Intense story!
This has been an intense listen, filled with the push and pull of Ari and Adeline's relationship is shadowed by the past and Ari's part in the turn of Adeline's life. It's a really good story, though I do feel it us slightly overling at times The narrators are both cery good indeed, bringing the intensity of both characters to life, capturing Adeline's innocence, frustration, anger and vulnerability and Ari's darkness and obsession. 💖💖💖💖💖

I loved the narration and the story!
First, let me say that James Cassidy perfectly embodies the souls of Ari, a hitman who never claims to be a “good guy,” but kind of is anyway. He catches the emotion of Ari as a man who is not conflicted about the way he lives his life and does his job, but he stalks and watches over Adeline.
Equally excellent is Ada Sinclair as Adeline. Adeline finds her father dead, and her life careens out of control. She ends up in an abusive marriage, but Ari, who has been watching her all long, wants to act on his obsession and rescue her if he can.
The story was classic Lily White, dark and light, funny and serious. The narrators really knitted a perfect story into an exceptionally enjoyable listen.

Absolutely amazing
I was reading the kindle book and was at chapter 14 when I found out the audio had been released so I had to listen. I loved every minute of it even though Ari stalked Adeline since he killed her father I couldn’t help but love him. When you find out the full story you hope she forgives him as they really are two halves of a whole.
