It's powerful how dreams/goals written down and held onto will manifest ... no matter how big. Jeff Bezos's focus and drive to win is inspiring.

Two key takeaways for success are 1) Codify the values/principles that define your organisation AND live by them. 2) ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS measure everything and figure out what the numbers are telling you - they don't lie.

Meticulously-researched, even-handed and in-depth account of the inseperable relationship between Amazon as one of the world's largest retailers and the personal philosophy of Jeff Bezos. I learnt a lot from this book about the highs and lows of Amazon's rise to business leadership

I always wanted to read this and see how the titan Amazon came to be. it was worth reading and I recommend it. though seeing how they bully for lower prices it's not very inspiring. I was hoping for a more romantic rise to power but lifes not all fairy tails I guess.

It’s quite obvious now why we see Amazon and Jeff enjoying the success they do.
A fascinating adventure through the early days and the latter years of Amazons expansion into the behemoth that it is now.
