About this listen

Star MedLab occupies what was once a factory in Shelton, Connecticut. Now, the medical facility boasts its ability to cure an assortment of mental illnesses and emotional disorders. To make it truly accessible it offers a payment for each admission! But is it a benevolent sanctuary or a place where coercion and experimentation on the vulnerable takes precedence over wellness?

When John and Myra Ruskin commit their daughter Andrea to Star MedLab they uncover its terrifying secrets. With the help of a social worker, a member of the Paugussett Indian Nation, they attempt to make public the awful truths long kept hidden by corporate greed and deception. Will they succeed in bringing justice to the many inmates that have been reduced to vegetative states or will the factory continue its destruction of the lives of those committed for less than altruistic reasons?

Excellent.

This is a well written story that kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. A family with a troublesome daughter accept money to send her to the facility for treatment, little do they know what horrors they are unleashing for themselves over the next few weeks. Highly Recommended. Tina Marie Cruz's narration is spot on for this story and she really adds to the atmosphere of the book. *****
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the narrator and leave this honest review.

I loved the narration of Tina Marie Cruz, who brings out the suspense and action.

The Factory is a thriller set in a New England industrial town. Set around a renovated factory that at one time produced pins.
Now,it is a medical facility, that boasts its ability to cure an assortment of mental illnesses and emotional disorders. John and Myra commit their daughter Andrea to Star MedLab. It is then that they uncover its secrets. The patients are subject to greed and deception. John and Myra , not know who to turn to , find help of a social worker, a member of the Paugussett Indian Nation, to make public the awful truths.
