Fascinating and Unusual!
Paranormal meets suspense in this unusual series by ML Hamilton. Luckily the series still feature her signature elements of humorous characters, quirky situations and a whole lot of mystery.
Breanna Perry, a psychiatrist working part time at San Quentin jail, should have died in a horrific accident. Instead, not only does she survive, but she experiences the strangest changes to her physiology that risk leaving her isolated in her experiences. But she isn't alone and there appears to be a deeper plot and larger agenda that she has involuntarily been sucked into.
I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I always love books by ML Hamilton but this was by far the most unique. The story comes to life with Kelley Hazen's stellar performance. I only wish there were more books in the series!
