About this listen
The riotously funny new novel from Justin Myers, master of the modern-day rom-com.
Two exes. One big secret. Let the games begin....
Dylan and Flo are in love. The only trouble is, they broke up months ago and everyone was delighted for them.
At first, it's exciting sneaking around, hiding from disapproving friends, climbing through bedroom windows to avoid family and concocting hilarious disguises. It's like Romeo and Juliet. With more sex and less poison.
But soon it becomes harder to separate truth from lies. Dylan and Flo are in way over their heads, and the games have only just begun....

Nothing really happened
The authors previous book was much better. I was waiting for a twist or some drama but nothing seemed to happen. The main characters were also hard to like, being rather bland. I also usually like the performance of this narrator but couldn’t stand the voice of the lead female character.

Such a let down.
Justin Myres previous books have a fresh and exciting view point of the typical queer / romance story so I was very excited to see a new instalment but sadly this book fell so flat for me. I found the characters so unlikable and the story really basic and mundane :(

Riotously funny it is not.
So disappointed categorised as a Rom-Com., no Com and very little Rom from a bunch of 2D characters held together with a few clichés disguised as feelings.
