Slow

Felt there was a large section where very little happened and found it quite dull.
At time the narration sounded robotic or Alexa like!

Good book

This was a good story, but I didn't like what Orlie did, no matter how badly someone treats you, that's not on. As for one of the others who isn't what they seem... But I do like books involving groups of friends like this.

Dire

A long, boring book full of cliches and twists you will see coming a mile off.
getting my credit back but unfortunately not the hours I took limping to the ridiculous end.

I hate to say it but.... mediocre

I started this book after having heard a preview. To say the preview was misleading is an understatement. I expected a thrilling book set in a novel setting. When really nothing truly happens until the last hour and a half or so. The ending could still have redeemed it as it is still a well enough written book, I was able to picture the 4 friends and their lives. Sadly the ending just didn't deliver for me. By no means is this a bad book but it's for the most part quite dull, leaving all the action to feel packed in whatever time is left and the ending to feel pretty unsatisfactory.
