Libro molto bello, tensione e profondità

If you have ever lost a child, this would be upsetting; here are very graphic descriptions of this. However, although the book deals with themes of loss and death, and it is most definitely a tragedy, it is an excellent and absorbing listen. There's no sentiment, just an honest exploration of the way loss affects the main character, the Cornelia Blackwood of the title. Characters are not bad or good, but shades of grey, and there is much that's optimistic in the story, even though the end feels like there was no other alternative. Great depth, and suspense, but nothing gratuitous. Quite a triumph.
