Summary

Brought to you by Penguin.

Intrigue, riches and romance abound in this thrilling sequel to the New York Times best-selling The Inheritance Games perfect for fans of Karen McManus and Holly Jackson.

The Inheritance Games ended with a bombshell and now heiress Avery Grambs has to pick up the pieces and find the man who might hold the answers to all of her questions - including why Tobias Hawthorne left his entire fortune to Avery, a virtual stranger, rather than to his own daughters or grandsons.

As the mystery grows and the plot thickens, Grayson and Jameson, the enigmatic and magnetic Hawthorne grandsons, continue to pull Avery in different directions. And there are threats lurking around every corner, as adversaries emerge who will stop at nothing to see Avery out of the picture - by any means necessary.

With nonstop action, aspirational jet-setting, family intrigue, swoonworthy romance and billions of dollars hanging in the balance, The Hawthorne Legacy will thrill Jennifer Lynn Barnes fans and new listeners alike.

Am obsessed with this series!

First heard about this trilogy from Stephany Soo, hearing the full sequel has kept me on the edge of my seat, literally can’t wait to start the final audio book to find out how this all ends!

Could it be narrated by someone else?

So I actually stumbled across this book trilogy from Stephanie soo on YouTube when she was doing baking a mystery. And I loved the way she explained and narrated book 1 so much so that I had to download audible and listen to book 2 and 3. But I was I credibly disappointed by the narration. The narrator’s voice is not animated, it’s weird and the male ‘narration’ is even more weird. It was a hard and forceful listen because I really wanted to know what happened to the books.

the Grayson and Avery kiss

I really liked it but I think that Grayson and Avery shouldn't of kissed at all but Jameson and Avey should always kiss

Better than the first one

I actually enjoyed this a lot more than the original. The story moved a lot quicker and I enjoyed that the twists and turns were not predictable. The development of the main characters has been really enjoyable and Avery is strong female lead. Can’t wait for the final book!

Good voices

Really good narrator. Follows on nicely from inheritance games. Much plot still to follow it seems.
