excellent narrators perfect for the story. The early part of Sienna's story could be triggering for anyone with a history of childhood abuse.
fast paced and exciting story if a bit blood thirsty in placed.
It transported you to Italy with the description of the scenery. But annoyingly kept mentioning high end brand names. ? product placing!!😂

Female voice made story easy listening

This was my first experience of mafia romance and it did not disappoint. I was instantly gripped to the storyline and loved the twists and turns of the plot. The story is set in Italy and the authors description of the areas within the book are described beautifully.
Sienna is a likeable character from the start, who did not have the best start in life which could be a trigger to some listeners. Ellio is the typical dark, handsome and mysterious guy who any woman could fall for. Ellio’s parents sound absolutely wonderful and loving.
The narrator’s voices make the book easy to listen to and really adds to the imagination of how the characters look.
The cliff hanger at the end has made me excited to listen to the next, and remaining books!

Absolutely riveting story I loved it right from the start to the cliffhanger ending, can’t wait to read next book, this story is explosive. Great narration

Loved the twists and turns to keep you guessing. Sienna’s story of her young years was good ploy to get you into the book, once that happened you were hooked. Just wish the following books were free or cheaper.

the plot was interesting if a bit holey - her every minute was scrutinised and terrorised, but then she was able to spend long periods with him?
but the callous violence, depicted with such variety, turned me off. The male character was just repulsive in his cruelty - or existed in two personas - and I found myself annoyed with the author fir thinking up new ways each time to torture the suspects. I stopped listening.

The female character is so annoying, really irritating and considering she'd been 'through so much ' she's a dumb arse , interviews a mob boss but doesn't realise she's now dating him ....duh 😤
