Really interesting presentation on the value of cognitive diversity. There is a lot of maths (not my strong point) and the presenter refers to visual aids on a number of occasions. Still, a fascinating presentation that will help people see the world more clearly and help make better decisions.

Really interesting topic with a lot of potential depth but if you’re over 15 you will soon tire of the lecturers high-school level delivery. “I had nine cows, not 10 hahah” wut. His accent when explaining algorithms is also too confusing - air=error=arrow hahaha bonk. Got 4 lectures in before it became too basic to listen to.

Fascinating book. A bit geeky at times with all of the Maths but it has a lot of good, useful ideas about the benefits of cognitive diversity

Having loved the course on Complexity I dived in to this one with high expectations. It has a lot more maths, which is not a strong point for me, but was brilliant regardless. The lectures are crafted beautifully, material is well paced and the overall course flows really well. Scott Page is an excellent speaker. More please.

The title doesn't give this course enough credit

Gives great tools and examples to help express and prove your intuition on complex scenarios

Great lecturer too, love his style. I'm not sure what he has against skaters though!

The term rightly became a pejorative in recent times. Book goes some way to justify the formal use, using mathematics and statistics.

While I enjoy these courses, this is my least favourite this far. Its still great, but it is heavy on the maths and as such doesn't listen as well as others.

As always however, there is much to learn from this course so in that sense it does not dissapoint.

Mostly driven by a series of toy models that point out that adding diversity to a group is better than adding more of the same knowledge/fitness/ideas/models/etc.
Would be nice to have gone deeper into empirical research.
