I Enjoyed it, was an easy listen. However, characters were quite unlikeable and highly predictable

Wonderful delivery, I could listen to that voice all day. Story was very strong leading clearly but not obviously to an exciting finale.
Well described characters that I could relate to and landscape descriptions so clear, I thought I was there

It was a slow burn but once I got into it, it really took off and was gripping. I can’t say I warmed to any of the characters, as they seemed a bit two dimensional but the description of the Norwegian landscape made me feel as if I were there. The narration was really good and added to the overall enjoyment of the book. Worth a listen, although not as bedtime reading otherwise you may be awake all night!

I loved the lead characters and kind of redemption arc that one of the characters had. equally gripping, tragic, sad and uplifting. A perilous adventure with twists along the way. a little slow to get going but descriptive and well told. great stuff.

Really enjoyed this thrilling ride through the Norwegian mountains. I like books that have the chapters shared between all characters giving their perspective. Looked forward to hearing what happened next so finished it quickly. Lots of twists and turns.

Liked the atmospheric feel of a hike in the Norwegian mountains. A good story, with the only negative for me being the very short chapters swapping characters in the style of Thursday Murder Club and loads of others these days.
