About this listen

THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN. THE TRUTH IS WORSE THAN YOU THINK.

THE JOB’S F*CKED

The Secret Diary of a Police Officer

Policing today is not what the public imagines.

Beneath the uniform lies a profession suffocating under bureaucracy, political interference, and a leadership structure more concerned with optics than justice. Officers are stretched to breaking point, forced to navigate a world where insane decisions fail the most vulnerable, where criminals slip through the cracks, and where those on the front lines are left to absorb the trauma—alone.

The Job’s F*cked – The Secret Diary of a Police Officer is an unflinching, insider’s account of a service on the brink of collapse. With brutal honesty, it exposes the chaos behind the badge, the failures the public never hears about, and the impossible pressures officers face every day.

THIS IS THE BOOK THEY DON’T WANT YOU TO LISTEN TO.

Anyone over inspector rank will likely experience uncomfortable parts of this. Why? Because it addresses their behaviors. The book explained policing and how it fit into both public services as well as the criminal justice system so well.

An excellent no holds barred description of life in the modern police force. As the author states, before criticising just try doing it for one day!

A true account of an officers daily life.

Yes, interesting insight into a copper’s job. It didn’t leave me with any sympathy though as the story is from the copper’s perspective. Most importantly, it raised awareness of the danger that we are moving into an arbitrary police state where people do not matter. Really. They do not matter.

Important listening. Raises awareness of how we are moving into an arbitrary police state.

What a brutal and worrying account of the system. Really interesting. Gripping. I’m going to need to listen to this again because parts just left me absolutely speechless.
