About this listen
The remote village of Imber - isolated, lost and abandoned. The outside world hasn't been let in since soldiers forced the inhabitants out, much to their contempt. But now, a dark secret threatens all who venture near. Everyone is in danger, and only Harry Price can help. Reluctantly reunited with his former assistant Sarah Grey, he must unlock the mystery of Imber. But will Sarah's involvement be the undoing of them both?

Amazing story, amazing character's.
Loved the whole story Harry is character I simply love and hate at the same time very much like Sarah grey.
Of course I love Sarah no hate there.
I also had good visual for the story as I live in Wiltshire very close to the village of Imber and regularly hear the army practicing there still. And odder still my name is Sarah and my son Harry.
I would love to know how Sarah and Vernon landed up together but maybe that's another story to be written by the talented Neil Spring.

longer than it needed to be
I found this to be a good story, but the narrator was a bit wimpy. Some of the descriptions were too long and a bit repetitive. I struggled to stay with it. the ending was obvious. I won't have another.

Taut thriller where nothing is as it seems
Written as a sequel to The Ghost Hunters, The Lost Village continues the sometimes fraught relationship between Sarah Grey and the enigmatic and manipulative Harry Price. Sensitively read by Louise Jameson, who does some passable make accents, it is a slow burner that goes up like a petrol tanker toward the end. Spring mixes good old fashioned detective fiction with supernatural chills as our heroes are called in to investigate a supposed haunting in Imber, a village taken over by the military, a village of unspoken secrets and one of the nastiest villains in fiction. Spring skilfully weaves all the strands together into a tapestry of evil, rewarding the patience of the reader with an explosive finale.

Lost Village Review
Great book enjoyed the history behind the story although the basis for the story was moved back to WW 1 from WW 2 but I though it worked very well.
