About this listen

When Dr Eben Alexander wrote about his own startling near-death experience in Proof of Heaven, he was contacted by countless people from all walks of life. His story had touched them personally and they in turn had their own miraculous experiences of the afterlife to share with Eben.

In The Map of Heaven, Eben recounts the astonishing stories he has heard on his travels, from near-death experiences and encounters with angelic beings to inspiring messages from departed loved ones. Each account helps us to understand just how vast the universe really is.

Drawing on these accounts and lessons from religious leaders, philosophers and scientific investigations into the role of consciousness, Eben explores our true place in the universe and what exactly exists beyond death.

Critic reviews

"Alexander is far more intellectually sophisticated, and frankly more reverent . . . Eben Alexander has become a foundational leader in this movement, and is, for that reason alone, a very interesting character to watch" ( The Daily Beast)

I'm a Clinical Hypnotherapist and I know how powerful the subconscious mind and I know its connected to a vast consciousness outside of our own brain. it was lovely to hear Dr Alexander's explanation.

Dr Alexander references many sources both ancient and modern and links them to the experiences of people who have written to him as well as his own experience of what awaits us in the afterlife. It is a very powerful account and is fascinating and thought provoking. ‘We are such stuff as dreams are made of,’ as Shakespeare put it.

Fascinating

I lost My Mum in February 2020, this book along with Proof of Heaven has gave me so much comfort, clarity and belief about our next stage of existence and evolution closer to the Devine.

P.s I am going to visit the sacred acoustics website to it sounds amazing.

Thank you 🙏

Nothing like his other book. This is just a stream of excuses for 'proof of heaven'. Lots of random ideas and musings. Unstructured and difficult to listen to. Quite a shame really, don't waste your time.
