Makes you think

Nice to listen when you can deep relax and think about your game, would not recommend around distractions as it’s full on. Good to come back to and rethink as you evolve

The Ultimate Guide to the Mental Game

Quite simply, Jared Tendler is the best coach for the mental game. He is to poker as Bob Rotella is to golf.

Its probably one of the most important aspects to master in poker, as it will affect your play no matter what your skill level. And having a solid mental game will get you on the right track if you are still learning.

Makes you think.

It’s hard sometimes to self-diagnose issues with your own game. Tendler keeps you captivated, and speaks in a tone that isn’t condescending, but posits hard questions directly to you - the reader. Some of which might even feel somewhat humiliating to answer honestly in your head, but then follows up with “if you answered in X way, you’re not wrong. Many players think like that, but have you considered thinking in Y way?”
Thoroughly enjoyed this book and made me assess my own play style in a way I didn’t expect. I will be using next month’s free credit on Mental Game of Poker part 2!

Great stuff

This book is full of the stuff that as a poker player you need to know but wouldn't have given a thought, Inchworms conscious competence. Dare i say you could even take alot of these concepts and apply them to anything that you are attempting to learn.

Best book for poker players.

Although I will repeat what others said before, this book is really the ultimate book when it comes to handling your mind when playing poker (and not just for that).

This book will teach you so many different things that can be applied in anything you wish to get good at.

Definitely recommend it to anyone
