Gripping
I was looking for a good psychological crime thriller and this fitted the bill perfectly. The narrator was an ideal choice for this book which made it even more engaging.

Brilliant
Great narrator. Really great listening to this story unfold, so many twists. Did not expect the ending. Have to highly recommend .

Absolutely brilliant!
This book gripped me from beginning to end. The story and characters were so well developed. I absolutely loved it! The narration was excellent too. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Captivating and Unique but Disappointing Ending
I always appreciate Logan's writing style; it has a way of drawing you in effortlessly, and the storyline consistently unfolds seamlessly. This book stands out from other thrillers right from the start with its unique approach. The protagonist is released from prison, having been wrongly convicted of her husband's murder, and is now determined to clear her name. I was captivated by the suspenseful moments, the constant need for vigilance, and the underlying theme of a mother's love and the fierce determination that stems from it.
While the first plot twist was unexpected, the final one was a bit hard to swallow, and I was left with one lingering question, but overall, it didn't diminish my enjoyment of the book.

Certainly gripping!
A real ‘page turner’ which I enjoyed and was gripped with all the way through until the last 40 minutes. Great characters, well narrated. It is difficult to be positive about the story line - when you have invested all that time and emotion into it, and then the ending is ….. what can I say without giving anything away…. disappointing …. At the very least!

Gripping
I always look forward to a new release of T.M Logans . And The Mother didn't disappoint . couldn't stop listening, it was so gripping. not going to give anything away. this would be good on the screen too. looking forward to the next book . highly recommend.
