Summary
Twenty years ago seven students became friends at their exclusive private school, Potter's Field. Now they have started dying in the most violent way imaginable. Detective Max Wolfe follows the bloody trail from the backstreets and bright lights of the city, to the darkest corners of the corridors of power. As the bodies pile up, Max finds he is fighting not only for justice, but for his own life....
The gripping first novel in an explosive new crime series by Tony Parsons, bestselling author of Man and Boy. If you like crime-novels by Ian Rankin and Peter James, you will love this.

Unusual mix of emotion and intrigue
A good start, some big loopholes in my opinion, where the killer remains unmasked because only two police officers seem to have any brains but enoughtough to keep you wanting to listen to the end...

Disappointing
Disappointing. Couldn't engage with the characters. Title only marginally connected to content. Grating narration

Wanted more
Loved this book. The story line kept me listening again and again. The narrator has a great reading voice and both story and narrator kept me wanting more even when I'd come to the last words spoken. Thank you all who were involved in its making.

Good read, good performance
A good book from the start, easy pace, but with a couple of twists, and turns. You can have a few guesses as to who did it, but I doubt you will get it right.

Its okay but
its okay but a bit predictable . Some of the technical details are just plain wrong but it is a story so does that really matter. A sort of average run of the mill offering .
