About this listen

The murderess crow longs to return to freedom and independence.

But the shadows of the past, the encounters of the present, and the tasks of the future are deadlier than ever. Not only an old enemy, a little girl and a whole nation drain her strength...

At Castle Cragwater, Karek finds no peace. The king is fighting a deadly disease, the smoldering civil war and the unrest at court are hardly controllable, and then his comrades also make a terrible discovery.

Barely back home, an unknown world calls to Karek. Does the lost island really exist? With this journey, Karek demands more from his comrades than friendship and loyalty can give.

Great

Another winner. Great storytelling : more please!
Still find some pronunciations odd but generally great characterisation from the narrator.

Another fabulous chapter

I have been waiting for this to come out for ages, such a good series!
This would appeal to anybody that likes medieval tales, it's has friendship, bonds that would never normally be likely, comedy, and thrills all the way. One that keeps you listening way longer than you should, and makes you hurry back. Highly recommended

Enjoyable

Have enjoyed the series so far but for me this episode has been the weakest. Too many convenient coincidences and the whole section of the island and tribes sailed close to white messiah territory. The narrator remains brilliant and has become one of my favourites.
