Photographer Melodie Carr moved to New York City to escape and make a fresh start. A surprisingly sweet and steamy romance that I devoured in one sitting. Lovable characters, good narration and smexy scenes. What's not to like.

An enjoyable short story which dips into the narrating character's mind, sharing her sadness, anxieties, wishes and guilty thoughts! A nicely developed quick romance with a soft centre and a steamy end.

Although it is obvious from the title where this story is going to go, it was a good journey, Lucy Felthouse does not disappoint. Believable characters and relatable emotions. This novella only has one fault, it's not long enough!
