About this listen

For too long had the Vth Legion ranged out beyond the sight of the wider Imperium, remaining ignorant of the Warmaster's rebellion and the war that inevitably followed.

Only once their primarch, Jaghatai Khan, had satisfied himself that the path before them was just and true did the White Scars choose a side, taking the fight to the traitors on every front. But, four years later, the Legion's unfettered spirit has been broken by relentless attritional warfare against the Death Guard and the Emperor's Children - the Khan's Stormseers must find a clear route to Terra if they are to take part in the final, apocalyptic battle.

Really good book and performed very well. I Can't wait for more on the Scars.

loved it!

Great! like all the books of the white scars, well worth a listen/read! easily one of the most underrated legions, but that is their strength after all, looking forward to more of the Khan and the Scars.

FOR THE KHAGAN!!!

The story was fine, interestingly different with some interesting characters and combat scenes, but although this narration is better than the last Scars book (the accents are not so blatantly stereotypical) but any time a demon or the Khan speaks it is like having someone shouting in your ear, especially with headphones.

watch your ears

wow I enjoyed listening to this so much.
There are some vague spoilers below!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is one of the first horus heresy books that hasn't left me feeling depressed in a long time
and we are treated to an awesome example of how a primarch fares against a greater daemon.
Epic fleet battles and astartes warfare. Dont skip this one.

unmissable entry in the series

An amazing book that finishes what the "White Scars" book started. So if you have read that one, then I can't recommend this one enough.

An amazing book with a lot of pay offs

Another classic. I knew nothing about the scars when I started the heresy, now they are my favorite legion.

For the Khagan!!!!!!

Love the story. Another excellent chapter in the 30k story. John Banks is superb and really gives the performance 100%.

Great story, even better voice acting

Considering the First Heretic and Fear to Tread are my top favs out of the horus heresy, the Path of Heaven is immense, it describes beautifully what happens to the White Scars and leads you on a constant battle for survival, wonderful narration as per and an outstanding story, definitely worth your time!

Best One Yet!

Decent enough story, far better and more relevant to what I expected, however, there are parts of the book I found irritating due to the narrators accents. He tends to elongate literally every word spoken by a White Scar, and it grinds on you in certain sections of long dialogue.

Decent enough
