Summary
Some say it's better to live as a villain, than to die as a hero. But why choose when you can go back in time and try out each option?
Ryan "Quicksave" Romano has begun a new time-loop. His goal? To prevent New Rome's destruction at the hands of the vicious Meta-Gang. To do so, our favorite courier must explore both sides of the law: to become a corporate superhero in one loop, and a scenery-chewing supervillain in the next!
But not is all as it seems. What is this heavy secret that the Dynamis corporation keeps hidden from him? Who is this person who seems to remember events from the previous loop? And most importantly, where did his cashmere suit go?

Great story
If you liked 1, you'll like 2. It's much of the same. A second volume of one book rather than a second book in a series.

Absolutely bloody great!
Brilliant story and great narration, well worth my 5 stars.
I’m over the moon the story will continue but also saddened I’m going to have to wait until the next book is written/released (bear in mind this book was released only days ago).

Amazing Book and an Amazing narrator
The perfect run is consistently interesting in all things from its world, to its history, to its characters. I struggled to pause this book at all; it hooks you and doesn’t let go

Time loop GEM
This book is amazing. It's definitely one of my top 5 reads ever!
I don't know how the author did it! The story follows the MC repeating his experience in Italy over and over and over again. However, with each reset the reader finds out more about the world. The author has done a great job playing with my mind. As my opinion of side characters change with each reset.
Without any spoliers, this book is a gem, a must read for all. It is fun, has a solid story and it includes multiple references of pop culture.
I will be listening to this multiple times.

Original idea
Entire book is a build up for the next book. Hope the next book actually finishes it.
It does a very good job in fleshing out the people, the world, and the powers. It’s well thought out and very creative.

The orange is in the henhouse...
I have finished the series now (unfortunately, book 3 isn't on audible yet so I had to dig my kindle out). The whole series is probably one of the best I've read in a long time. I was hooked from the start and I love the narrators performance as well. I often dislike a lot of narrators but stick with it for the plot (e.g. the game of thrones book narrator is terrible but I love the plot..) but these two mesh really well. The writer has done a fantastic job with this and I'll be looking at reading some of his others!

A+ entertainment
Book 1 was in my top 5 of 2021 and book 2 was also very good. No dip in the quality and after the ending, book 3 can't get here soon enough.

A simply exhilarating ride
A sublime continuation to an incredible story. I lost count of the times I laughed during this listen, but even through that enjoyment there was seriousness, heartbreaks and surprising revelations. Highly, highly recommend to someone who shares a dark kind of humour, as well as someone who enjoys amazing plot and divine narration.
