This book is like no other. The stories and facts in this book are raw and painful to hear but serves as a very excellent source of guidance and shares red flags for anyone who has a mobile device or laptop. Scammers can pop up from just about anywhere and pretend to befriend you, whether it may seem accidental or you find them on a dating or networking website. Not everyone has good intentions. Bravo to the author for exposing such a shameful industry built solely to lure and rob victims of their entire life savings. Read this book to prevent yourself from getting into any heartaches or losing all your hard earned money. Young adults especially need to be super wary since they are venturing on social media the most. This book must be shared to as many people out there!

Prior to this book I didn’t realize there what PBS was, but I’m so glad that I’m better informed now. It’s always a great book when the author is sharing their own personal experience in the hopes of helping out others. I especially enjoyed the sections on the myths of PBS so you know what is real and what isn’t!

We have all been scammed on some level or degree and all need to learn from this heartbreaking cautionary tale. I have empathy for these folks who have been scammed of their life savings, because the internet is full of elaborate pitfalls and many of us are too trustingImportant to be vigilant about the possibility of a scam, especially on social media. I have been ripped on more than once from a Facebook ad for goods that were never delivered.. It has made me change passwords and my mail email address.

The author is brave to write about her experience and others like her. Through them coming forward it, they help us understand these criminal rings in SE Asia who have elaborate scrips and psychological tactics. Worth reading or listening to in order to learn from. God bless all these people and I pray for your mental wellbeing and financial stability. Moving on can be hard I'm sure, but there are still many more good people in the world than bad.

Wow, I knew there were scams but had no idea to the scale that this book talks about. Quite honestly I’m mind blown by the extent that some people go to to convince other to part with their cash.
Had my attention from the start and recommend to anyone who is contemplating investing.
On another note I feel if crypto were regulated it would be a step In the right direction.

Listening the audiobook was cathartic and unsettling, but it also helped me somehow. I needed this to come back down to earth and see not only the good side of people, but also that despite the many beautiful things, this is still a very cold and dangerous world and you have to be very careful. So I am very grateful to the author also because of this!

I recommend this audiobook to everyone because it is very educational and extremely helpful. It is also recommended for those who, although they have not been in a similar situation themselves, are interested in works in which the author tries to help based on his or her own lived and authentic experiences (these are my favorite genres). For those who have also fallen into the net of a manipulative person, be it fraud, deception or are forced to maintain contact with such a negative person on a daily basis. I think is a must for them. It's five stars for me.

And the only thing I would say to the author is that everything has a reason. Although it was a great loss for you, but think of it, maybe this bad experience needed to make this audiobook, which will help many other people in the future. Because yes, that's the truth! This audiobook is the help! I wish a lot of strength to those in trouble, believe me, if you stay strong and stick together, in the end you will win!
