The Red Wolf is a little different as far a as books of this sort go. I wouldn't call experimental. Just a little divergent.
For one thing. Don't expect much sex in this. The heroine gets pregnant so early in the book it's not even a spoiler. That's not to say there's no steam in this. But it's not a sexscapade.
There's a lot of relationship stuff in this. It's a got a little bit of the more grounded romance novel where the writer really tries to get inside the characters. It will take you back if you were expecting something more straight forward. And not all of the side characters feel like they need to be there. This book isn't that long, So you'd think sideplots wouldn't be needed.
But with al that said, it's a sweet book. It really is. The werewolf stuff was a bit underdone. But the hero as likeable and the heroine managed to be more than just an insert for the reader. And the story rolls along nicely and is a good ride on it's own. All the things above will probably let you know if it's for you or not. If it sound good, go for it. It's charming in its own way :)

This was an enjoyable paranormal romance to listen to, especially as it has all the components you would expect from this genre: a hot werewolf, a feisty strong woman, a dangerous situation, chemistry, a twist in the story, bad guys and greedy guys. There is plenty of action and the story is quite fast paced.
