About this listen
Today's leaders are navigating rapidly evolving technology, organisational uncertainty, financial pressure and changing client demands. At the same time employees expect leaders to be purpose-driven, authentic, inspiring, inclusive and to create an environment where they feel safe to discuss mental health. Balancing the many demands on leaders at work, and at home, requires resilience. Angela defines resilience as the ability to take the challenges and changes of life in your stride and say "yes" to the opportunities that excite you.
The resilience habits in this audiobook are entirely within your control, simple to understand, quick to do, can be done anywhere, cost no money and require no kit.

Excellent book on stress resilience
As a chiropractor, many of my clients come to me to resolve chronic pain issues. I find that 'prescribing' general stress-management significantly improves their symptoms quite apart from any physical manipulations I do. When we seek to resolve only symptoms the same problems return time and again. Only when we tackle the root cause (movement habits, diet, stress) and look after ourselves holistically do we achieve great health - mental and physical. Certainly a book I'll be recommending to my patients as it's simple to understand and practical to apply.
Well narrated and easy to listen to.

A Great Listen
This book is full of practical wisdom and useful applicable information and instruction. I have really enjoyed it and will be referring to it regularly as life goes on I am sure. Superb! This book / audiobook should be given to everyone entering the workforce to reverse the declining mental health stats.

Easy to follow and full of gems
As a self-improvement geek, this is my kind of book. The Resilience Club is an excellent resource for anyone who wants to actively improve their mental health. Short, well-explained habits that can be done by anyone anywhere, even if you have limited time.
I found the layout and short chapters helpful so I could skip directly back to a specific habit. An achievable way to reduce stress! Check it out :)

Enlightening
Thoroughly inspiring and I highly recommend this for anyone. This book will resonate whether you are in a corporate environment or not. Informative, surprising, human and reflective. Not only have I learnt so, I have discovered my own worth and made self realisations in the process. I will be buying the paperback and listening to this again.

A book you can turn to when you need it most
This audiobook joins the dots between having ambition and achieving it! Many of my clients are high achievers but still too many burn brightly then burn out, it doesn’t have to be that way! Angela shares 30 habits that are already tried-and-tested by a cross-section of managers & leaders, for sustaining high performance.

Resilience Club - Audio - ***** Excellent
I “know” I should be better at self-care, I even “know” many ideas of how to do it. This book has finally moved me from “knowing” to “doing”, the reality checks were sobering and I now realise many of the habits take no extra time – many are a different mindset or way of doing things I already have to do!

Insightful read!
I found this audiobook interesting, insightful and very practical. Narration has a friendly tone to it. The author has burned out in the past and is very sympathetic to the reality of demands in the workplace. She offers a variety of ways to prevent/reduce stress so there is something for everyone interested in this subject. Highly recommended.

Daily Success to Resilience and Performance
I listened to this on my commute and it was the wake-up call I needed to be more deliberate about managing my general stress level which has been creeping up on me over time, busy job etc. Each of the habits are just under 10 minutes and separate tracks so it's easy to have a quick reminder - useful if your memory is anything like mine! The free download of diagrams and lists is helpful although they are described pretty well anyway. I found the resilience self-assessment useful - good to know I've got some skills already! There were quite a few habits that were new to me. All in all it just feels totally do-able and I can see me re-listening to this many times whilst I work on incorporating the ideas over time. I feel less stressed already!
