Summary

Good people do bad things

Bad people do good things

Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference…

Gina's body has floated down the River Esk. She was a farmer's wife. And it looks like an accident.

But Michael Brady has his doubts.

Brady's back in the police–and he needs to prove himself.

Is it murder? Or does Brady need it to be murder?

It's a year since his wife died. He's feeling lonely. And he's still trying to balance being a single dad and being a Detective Chief Inspector.

I really like this book.

I think that this was a great follow up to the 1st book, which was excellent. The characters are believable and likeable. The narration was brilliant.
I hope there are more eventually because I can't see my getting bored.

More please.

An enjoyable 2nd in a series, but at the time of my review, no more are available on Audible, but I will keep my fingers crossed. I would certainly buy the next one.

The Characters- I loved all the main characters

Brilliant story. Kept me engaged throughout the whole narration. The story was excellent. The narrator is brilliant. I am grieving- Mark Richards died whilst writing his sixth book in this series. Also I am grieving as only two in this series are available on Audible.

A good listen

Liked the development of the characters from the previous book. The setting and descriptions mainly in and around Whitby makes the actual plot more interesting as anyone who knows that area can identify with the beauty and the weather. Am looking forward to the next in the series
