A well versed story

First and foremost I enjoyed The Letter and because of this bought The Secret. A good read with an in depth knowledge of human behaviour.
I gathered the secret towards the middle of the book but another part of the story was a complete suprise.

Better then her first book!!

loved it! I found at first I was a bit confused, as you go to the past I couldn't work out the link between the characters... but once I got into it I ended up hooked. The story was much better then the authors first book, and I loved the dynamics of the characters and how well developed they are so you really care about them.

Slow to start but then couldn't put it down

It's a very cleverly written book - with a lot of interesting characters. I really enjoyed it!

A heartwarming story

I enjoyed the story, nothing too dramatic or out of the ordinary. Just tales of normal people and their relationships and love.
What I found a bit annoying was the long pauses after each chapter!

Brilliant audiobook

One of my favourite purchases.I couldn't stop listening .
Really enjoyed the story and liked the characters. The narrator brought the characters to life.
Didn't want it to end.
This is the first audiobook I have listened too by Kathryn Hughes and I have now purchased The Letter . I hope it's just as good as The Secret
