Brilliant!
The start appears to be slow and rather disjointed (I believe this is deliberate to set up a contrast to what follows with a few sharp turns in the plot) but it develops into an amazing story and the performance, with multiple readers, makes a big difference. Loved Leo!

Could not put this down
I am an avid reader but I cannot say the same for providing reviews but it is time to change especially as I always use other people’s reviews to guide me in selecting my next book purchase. I am giving this book 5 stars. I loved the story and the narrator I could not stop listening to it, even on a flight home from a busy city break weekend where I would usually catch up on my sleep I was wide awaking taking in the story. I read a lot of books and enjoy most but this I thoroughly enjoyed.

a bit repetitive
Got quite bored part way through. Repeated itself a lot. Good story but very different to the usual Jodie Picoult

Heartbreaking and Wonderful in Equal Parts
I love Jodi Picoult and this is the first of her books I have listened to (altho I also have the paperback). The narration is excellent and added to the depth of the story for me, I guessed at the twist early in the tale, but it doesnt spoil the ending, in fact I thought it made the revelations even more poignant. Another winner from Jodi.
