Tipping point is a good book with some good ideas but for the context part he relies heavily on outdated psychology of broken windows the Stanford prison and other experiments that have come under heavy criticism

Loved this book about how social trends are powered. Written just before the internet really became ubiquitous so not sure if it needs to be revised in this light. Really well written and very compelling. Wanted to read more from him. Minor point, I have gathered that there are now other interpretations about Zimbardo's Prison guard work that question its reliability of its methodology.

Gladwell’s views and descriptions of societal epidemics draw you in and make you view the World through a very different lens. I am of average intelligence and needed to re-visit some of the content in order to appreciate and understand the points being made, but I did with interest and intrigue. I am sure I will also come back to this publication again and again.

Some interesting pieces of research explained but also many chapters dedicated to relatively boring (my personal opinion) ‘tipping points’. Had to struggle through these to finish the book

Lost me quite often

I didn't think many of the propositions in this book stood up to scrutiny. one was the correlation between a news channels facial expressions and how those viewers voted. another was social experiments in the 60s/70s that are now debunked. Gladwell also referred to alot of examples that he used elsewhere. not his best work but I would still recommend him as an author.
