About this listen
The entire four-book Trackers series in one bundle: over 30 hours of post-apocalyptic survival fiction and action.
No power. No rules. No help coming.
The end of the world is just the beginning of the hunt....
Five days ago, North Korea detonated three strategically placed nuclear warheads over the United States, triggering an electromagnetic pulse that crippled the country. A second attack destroyed the nerve center of America in a nuclear blast that flattened the nation's capital. As the government falls apart in the aftermath, the survivors must decide how far they will go to save the ones they love.
In this lawless new world where the most ruthless thrive while innocents suffer, a sheriff, a retired marine, a nurse, and a senator turned secretary of defense are faced with keeping their communities and families safe. One thing is certain - they won't be able to save everyone. Not with their humanity still intact.
The explosive Trackers series is a harrowing story of survival and a realistic depiction of what an EMP attack and the aftermath might look like from former Homeland Security disaster mitigation officer and New York Times best-selling author Nicholas Sansbury Smith. Packed full of action, survival tips, and a unique twist on the EMP genre, the Trackers series has thrilled hundreds of thousands of fans across the world.

Serious end of the world scenario done right .
This is a great book series from a favourite author of mine , Hell Divers being the books that introduced me to Nicholas’s work . The Trackers series follows the struggle of a small town community after an EmP attack on the USA . From the intro introducing the scenario and Nicks background in disaster preparation you know it’s going to be a serious look into the effects of an emp Attack . But it’s not a documentary , there are some fantastic characters you come to know, love and hate with some Brilliant Native American culture woven into this post apocalyptic thriller via one of the main characters . It’s a hard book to put into one category, there’s is great military action with gunfights and how the US government tries to cope with the situations and fallout from the chaos . Excellent character and world building (you really feel like you know the town and it’s people ) interesting and often worrying factual stuff about the emp and it’s horrific effects on wentern civilisation, great reluctant heros and heroines and perfectly evil bad guys . There is Lots more I’d love to say about the books but i would not want to give any spoilers. The narrator is perfect for the roles and makes every character unique , his voice and way of story telling really pulls you in . it’s 5 stars all around for the series .
Great work Nick Smith !

Bizarre narration!
Great characters spoiled by the bizarre and inconsistent performance, the performance does improve slightly through the books but still ultimately spoiled the story in multiple places!

this book is a literary emp
thank you NSS for a fantastic book. this work of factual based fiction was an amazing listen.
the tight cast of main characters made it easy to follow but my lack of US geography made me turn to google to get perspective of distance and location.
this was interesting, fun and thought provoking. well done.
i wonder if us listeners ever find out what Raven does next.

Trackers
I thought this book would be interesting because of the subject covered but far too much time was spent on describing how people killed soldiers (lots of hanging and skinning!) and how what seemed to be the majority of survivors became overnight psychopaths and killers with the usual idiot followers. Anyway I lost interest and didn’t read to the end.

Amazing series
I have become a massive fan of NSS since extinction cycle and this is not a disappointment. A great story with characters you care about and bad guys that are really bad. And of course it could actually happen. This kept me hooked and rooting for raven and chief coulson from start to finish. Can’t wait for the next book in the series

Takes you deep into the story.
Most memorable narrator's work yet! Did absolutely amazing job!
At first i thought he's bit ott with his "in-depth" narration, but soon realised how precise and deep his job goes! It not only makes you immediately understand who's talking before the author reveals it but it takes the reader deeper! Job Well Done!
Absolutely loved this serie!

chillingly plausible
being an ex soldier myself I was a little suprised at exactly how many of the charactors could shoot straight let alone achieve a head shot but that aside, the whole series was chillingly real. I just hope that funny little man with the bad hair cut doesn't read it.

Very Enjoyable Series
First of the fact you get 4 books for 1 credit makes this a steal!
The Story its self was an interesting change of pace from the usual post/ZA stories
The murder mystery too it gave it an extra twist as well as having to deal with the main event of the EMP.
I did enjoy the story surrounding the inhabitants of EsTees Park and the mix of native American folklore was pretty cool.
throw in the Nazis and the other lunatic fringe groups in Colorado and its a fun story. would have liked to see a little more involvement from north Koreans but maybe that a future story? would hope so!
I have to admit the it was a little staining for me when the story switched to the Montgomery story line. I don't think I enjoyed her character really which may be why, found her to be whinging all the time and just got a little annoying to be honest and I got a little lost when her bodyguard got a side line from that. didn't really think he had that much of a role to play in things
that said still a really great series, hope there is more to follow would love to see it close out a few things!
as for the narration: once I got into it was no trouble. he is a little different in the beginning but Pinchot delivered the story really well and is definitely a great narrator, just give him the chance!
