Scary Technology
The book was very much spoilt for me by the hero and the villian having very similar forenames. There is little difference between Sam and Salim. I think this was a huge boo boo by the author. There are so many names to choose from, why not two distinctly different ones. You may call this nit picking and times I found it confusing who was the focus of the narrative was.

Dark and gripping and very well-written
Such a great book! Holy hell can Michelle write...! Loved this dark, twisted MI5 spy thriller world. Felt so wrapped up in the characters and their predicaments. Truly gripping and captivating novel. Not for the fainthearted as it is dark and twisted, but I like that!! Huge kudos Michelle! 👏👏

struggling to get through
thus guy, reading these sex scenes, sounds like a dirty old man who's just been caught jacking it at the bedroom window. so painful.

Far too wordy
“Her ivory shoulders” I ask you. Just couldn’t get into it. Too many characters and no idea what was going on.

Dreadful
Astonishingly bad. This book is so badly written. it's almost funny, but not quite, "Quantum Physics was extremely hard." No shit Sherlock.. It has a wildly improbable plot and is liberally peppered with some of the worst sex scenes it's ever been my misfortune to read, "They spent the afternoon in bed charging up and down Memory Lane," seriously?
This book is described as a thriller but is clearly Fantasy.
Narration by Greg Patmore is excruciating. I don't know why but he always sounds seedy and his female voices are like something from a Music Hall act.
I'm going to ask for my money back.
