Unexpectedly enjoyable
I’m obsessed with Lisa Jewell’s books and I found this a little difficult to get into, however after an hour or so I was hooked and it was amazing. I love putting the pieces together when listening to Lisa’s books and I never finish them disappointed

Absolutely amazing
This book has been the book you can’t put down. My life has stopped in order to consume it. Beautiful story so empathically written. Fabulous narration. Fulfilling. Thank you.

Tearful
I remember having this book many years ago and it's bringing me to tears reading....
The audio version had the same effect and because I only had to listen it didn't matter if my eyes watered

Complex, compelling and beautiful
Lisa Jewell displays an eloquence and gentleness that is rare. This story of Melody is engaging and totally compelling, taking the reader on a journey that binds sadness and joy inextricably together. Perfectly narrated by Antonia Beamish.

Skin tingling page turner but in a good way!
Wonderful heart warming modern day story which is easy to relate to Kept me listening in anticipation and I wasn't disappointed with the ending.Well paced and well read. Loved all the characters.
