About this listen

Brought to you by Penguin.

Read by award-winning narrator Jeff Harding.

**NOW A MAJOR PRIME TV SERIES STARRING ALAN RITCHSON**

Two female army high-flyers. Both acquainted with Jack Reacher. Both forced to resign from the service.

Now they're both dead.

Found in their own homes, naked, in a bath full of paint. Apparent victims of an army man. A loner, a smart guy with a score to settle.

A ruthless vigilante.

A man just like Jack Reacher.

Although the Jack Reacher novels can be listened to in any order, The Visitor is the 4th in the series.

‘Jeff Harding’s [...] narration captures Reacher’s character perfectly [...] you have to savour every minute.’ The Sunday Times

The narrator did another excellent job but this story is my least favourite so far.

don't get me wrong, it's good, but not great.

Not my favourite.

3rd book on the bounce by the same narrator, and was not disappointed.

Jack has a house and you can see his character starting to get the urge for the road.

The story had a few twists and turns and wasn’t disappointed.

It was that good, Ive just bought my next book

3rd Jack Reacher

I loved Jack Reacher from the start. Sorry movie buffs, not Tom Cruises version, that is so at odds with Lee Child's vision of him.
The story grabs you from the start and takes you with it, as it dips and sweeps, through to its conclusion.
I think you should try to read these books in order so you learn who Jack is and understand his principles.
Enjoy.

Loved it. Start to finish

I enjoyed the book, to be fair not my favourite Reacher story as I did guess who the villain was about a third way through. Its well worth listening too though, a good story and brilliantly read by Jeff Harding

Good but predictable story line

I found the book lifeless & failed to grab my attention. Possibly due to the narrator.

Very poor narrator

Classic Reacher

Enthralling right from the start. A great blend of humour and intrigue brought to life by Jeff Harding's narration.

Gripping

really enjoyed this book with some allsomes twists. would definitely recommend the whole series.

Great twist

This was a very well thought out story, but you have to stick with it right to the end for everything to fall into place, much like an Agatha Christie. Some early storyline seems overtly antagonistic between characters, but this fits into place (a bit better) later on. Not my favourite Reacher book, but well worth a read.

Agatha Christie-esque
