About this listen
Rebecca Reis considers abandoning her career as a novelist until she begins writing about convicted serial killer Thomas Eisenbrey.
Nicknamed the Hunter because of his penchant for targeting groups of hunters in the forest, Eisenbrey is the worst kind of psychopath. He is crafty, aloof, at times possessing a charm that is almost hypnotizing, and he's wheedling his way into her mind.
As her interviews with him in the Washington State Penitentiary progress, Rebecca finds herself having feelings for the last man in the world that she should, forcing her to ignore her attraction to the detective who is also vying for her affection. But when the Hunter escapes, she worries - who will he hunt next?

Evil is a good word
This is the first book by this author that I have listened to and boy am I glad I started with this book.
Basically it's a love story with a huge twist because it's how a damaged writer falls in love with the serial killer she is writing her next big book about. With the twisted games he plays its not long before he gets her doing his bidding but that's okay because he is on death row with no chance of getting out......right? WRONG.
As the the listener you wonder how he can have so much power over someone but with Gwendolyn reading its not long before you are captivated by the story too and left wanting more. Will be looking out for the next book in the series to see how it plays out.

great
a great first book from a new author and although it was very much along the same lines as "Silence of the lambs" it was very good. I'm looking forward to more in the trilogy xxxxxxx

Gripping
Would you listen to The Way Evil Does again? Why?
I would listen to it again as I want to read the 2 nd book in the series so I would listen gain before reading the next episode.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Tom of course , he sounds sexy as hell. I like his manipulative nature.
What does Gwendolyn Druyor bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
Gwendoyn reading the book seemed to make it come alive , I felt like I was there involved with the characters.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I did get emotional at parts of the book more for Rebecca as her character got more and more involved with Tom.
Any additional comments?
I read this book first , then listened to it on audio. I loved reading the story but can honestly say as much as I love reading I am now a converted audio listener when I can I will use audio as well as reading. The story for me was a listen to the end even though I knew the outcome I still listened every chance I got and loved it just as much second time round
