Summary

Bit different from the usual crime novel
Different story line to most of the crime novels I've read. Would have liked more of an explanation regarding why the main characters behaved as they did, the psychology of it, but overall a good story and plot.
The narrator was decent, but not good at accents, and there was very little to no distinction between character voices. This did not stop me from being able to follow the story, though.
She has a pleasant voice and her pace was good throughout.
The story was well paced and held my interest for the most part (I find characters 'home life' stuff mostly tedious though there wasn't too much of it in this book).
Overall, pretty good with an unusual ending, and I won't be crossing either the narrator or the author off the listening list :)

A Chilling Thriller
Absolutely loved this book from start to finish! It's the first book I've read by this author and I'm now going to find more of his work. The characters were believable, the narrator was excellent. This should be made by into a movie.

3 hours, 49 minutes and 17 seconds
Unfortunately couldn't even manage four hours and I have decided to return this book. I re-read the reviews that had pushed me towards getting this book, and there's a theme that the story is excellent, but can be a bit slow to get into. I really can't be bothered to keep waiting It would have to be a miraculous turn-around to make up for really what's been quite a boring few hours of running and dog walks.
The narration was ok, I liked her voice, and maybe I'd have thought she was much better if I had any interest in the story or characters!
