Faultless. Just could not stop listening and I will need to listen again. I listened to the Kings Men books first not realising these came first. The characters are so real, and both narrators are superb.

Loved this story of adoption, acceptance and being grafted into Gods family. I find the American pronunciation of some names and words distracting …. 😳but manageable!! (Eli pronounced as Ellie is probably the most off-putting!!) Great listen overall and I have immediately downloaded the next book in the series as I want to know what happens!!!

Fantastic story, opens up the Old Testament in your imagination.

The basic story line was interesting and obvious research had been done . However it could have done with a bit more clarity in places. The telling was far too convoluted. I very much doubt the Israelites would have taken in Philistine children they tended to kill them ,
