About this listen

When two people's lives are spiraling out of control, can coming together pull both of them back up?

Alexis Woods knows who she is - or at least, she thought she did. She's number 17, point guard, MVP, all-star, co-captain of the Lady Raiders NCAA Division I women's basketball team. But there's a darkness growing inside of her, a darkness that started the night her beloved died in her arms, and if she doesn't turn things around soon, the darkness just might swallow her whole.

Graham Griffin knows a thing or two about darkness. That's been her zip code ever since the car accident that took her boyfriend's life - the car accident she caused. When she meets Alex, she sees a reflection of her own sorrow. And she can't help but want to fix it.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish. It didn’t follow the formula of so many lesbian romance novels and kept you guessing. Would highly recommend

100% immersive and engaging

Loved this story and the characters! Was gripped right from the beginning. I felt like I was really getting to know two wonderful and strong (in different ways) women as they took this journey. Wonderful!

So refreshing to read a book about gay women & then adds different ethnicities/cultures but without making a huge deal they are just themselves & that isn’t all about 2 fem women either.
All that & just a good honest romance- which I normally avoid but really enjoyed here in this LGBTQ+ format.
Give it a try & support a damn good author in an under represented genre.

At last!

Eliza Andrews is one of my top 2 or 3 authors of the past few years. She's a very accomplished writer, and her plots are beautifully structured to deliver the right amount of tension and emotional catharthis... But I think it's her angst that gets to me most, she has this ability to go deep emotionally that I love... Tho it can be a bit gutting at times... She's honest and vulnerable.. Something that few writers not honed in the healing waters of fanfic are able to produce, in my opinion...
This book displays all these talents, I read it a few months ago and listening to it only adds to the experience, like all the best audiobooks do, The reader is also excellent.... Phew!
So, get this, it's lovely!

Brilliant, angsty, moving and honest.
