The thrilling next instalment in Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan Jr. series

Jack Ryan Jr is on a simple job. An all-expenses paid trip to Israel in exchange for a of couple hours easy work, reporting back to an old friend at the CIA. What could be easier?

Jack is here merely as an observer, but as he settles into his work in the market, he sees the glint of a knife, and throws himself in front of a woman and her young son under attack.

Cover blown, he finds himself the target of trained killers. Alone and outgunned, Jack will have to use all his skills to protect the life of the child.

Love the Jack Ryan Jr novels and enjoyed this. Scott Bricks performance is on point as always. A few more technical bits that have been missing but this had limited scope - I always imagined Tom Clancy with a big map of the world on a table and he moved the pieces round - this isn’t playing in the whole world.

Enjoyable

One of the better post Tom Clancy books

At times there is to much description of unimportant detail but it didn’t stop me enjoying it.

Really good story and storyteller.

Amazing does not seem to do this justice. I felt every emotion and couldn’t put it down. Recommending to everyone

My heart was in my throat

A very good story spoilt towards the end by an unbelievable, unsurvivable amount of pain.

A mostly good story

I love these book but this was just a little bit to far fetched

I bit to much

The story a little disjointed but is fast paced. Any Jack or Jr. Ryan novel keeps your ears listening.
Worth trying but not the original Campus stories.

Not Tom Clancy but learning to try & get there.

The Jack Ryan jr story carries on, a little far fetched and maybe the the characters have had their time.
This is definitely not in the Tom clancy style.

the story continues

Brick was fine. Storyline thin. Apparently Jack Jr is the new superman. Not impressed.

Sadly not up to par

As I’m visual impaired I need to extract details from the voice and the explanation of the surrounding to visualise the story. The technical explanation is a little too much and the impossible achievements of Jack Ryan to much exaggerated. Other stories of jr. are much better. I have waited long for this audible book, but unfortunately it is disappointing.

Poorer than expected

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

The improbable story line detracts from the overall adventures of Jack Ryan AKA Superman. Keeping to a more believable storyline would have improved the overall enjoyment this book.
