About this listen
A psychological suspense novel of obsession and dangerous love. The new, updated edition of Too Late from the number one New York Times best-selling author of Verity.
Sloan will go through hell and back for those she loves. And she does so, every single day. Caught up with the alluring Asa Jackson, a notorious drug trafficker, Sloan has finally found a lifeline to cling to, even if it’s meant compromising her morals. She was in dire straits trying to pay for her brother’s care until she met Asa. But as Sloan became emotionally and economically reliant on him, he in turn developed a disturbing obsession with her—one that becomes increasingly dangerous every day.
When undercover DEA Agent Carter enters the picture, Sloan’s surprised to feel an immediate attraction between them, despite knowing that if Asa finds out, he will kill him. And Asa has always been a step ahead of everyone in his life, including Sloan. No one has ever gotten in his way.
No one except Carter.
Together, Sloan and Carter must find a way out before it’s too late....

Just Perfect
There are books that stay with you forever ingrained in your heart. This is one of them!! Absolute stunning piece of work. Gripping, disturbing, heart warming, scary. Just a few adjectives used to describe how I felt whilst listening. Hoover writes from deep within her soul and I for one appreciate all that hard work.

Good read with a few twists
Good book, kept me interested & had a couple of little twists that I didn't quite see coming, great narration (although I found Asa's narration at bit whingy). Worth a read!

Good Read
It was an emotional story and I enjoyed it. I only didn't like that they cursed so much and I could have done without all the negative references to God and Jesus. I've read other Colleen Hoover books and this one was a little uncomfortable because of that.

Wow!!
This book was incredible. It grips you straight a way and there isn’t a moment I didn’t want to listen this book. When I wasn’t listening to it, it was all I could think about. Thank you Colleen Hoover for another amazing book

Same as all the other Colleen books
So predictable and kind of dragged on in the end pointless sort of a story

Gripping storyline but I couldn’t help but cringe
I liked the 3 different perspectives of the story and at some parts I couldn’t put it down. But I found myself physically cringing at some of the scenes, particularly the conversations between Luke and Sloan. Very cheesy but if you can see past that you will love it

Good Read
I enjoyed listening to this, hasn't been my favourite but worth a listen. I think the plot twist was slightly predictable but still a lovely story

Enjoyable
The story was entertaining and kept me engaged throughout however it was predictable.
I enjoyed the characters. I liked how the story was told from 3 different perspectives, that each perspective carried on from the previous and didn’t repeat or over lap.

A little predictable
I thought one of the narrators was rushing the sentences. The book as a whole wasn’t her best work. It was about 2 hours longer than needed and was very predictable. I did enjoy it however, the bones of it had potential.
