About this listen
In this beautiful love story of "forbidden longing" (New York Times bestselling author Penelope Douglas), a sweet young woman and a rough and tough biker are connected in a way they can’t contain—and they’ll do anything they can to be together.
When I was five years old, I told Toren Grace we were going to get married someday. He’d been my closest friend, my protector, and my rock since the day I was born. But during my senior year, our relationship slowly changed. Silly conversations morphed into serious heart-to-hearts. Innocent friendship turned to stolen glances.
Then one day, an unexpected kiss changed everything.
While that kiss was all I’d ever dreamed of, it knocked Tor clear off his axis. His strong moral compass makes it impossible for him to accept our feelings for each other. Because, not only am I eighteen and fifteen years younger than him, I’m the one person he should never, ever want.
Tor is my father’s best friend—my pseudo uncle.
Neither one of us can stand to betray or hurt my dad, but we can’t keep our relationship hidden forever. Will there be a way for us to find our happily-ever-after? Or will we all be torn apart?
Torn is book one in the All Torn Up series but can be read as a standalone novel.
Critic reviews
"A captivating journey of forbidden romance. Torn is unputdownable and unforgettable."—Meredith Wild, #1 New York Times bestselling author
"Soulmates tangled in a forbidden, twisted situation. TORN shattered me and put me back together again. It’s not a story—it’s a ride that I never wanted to end. It takes forbidden love and angst to an entirely new level."—Abbi Glines, #1 New York Times bestselling author

Great listen
Just finished listening to this and what a lovely story that I have no hesitation in recommending , but then I have loved all of Carina stories they are very different and written with passion , insight ..
I loved the animal rescue which sadly is far too common placed, so this had a pull on my heart strings ..... Tor , a gentle giant with standards and a fierce love for is "niece" but as you listen to the story Carina develops the characters with real warmth feeling , thanks for a great listen and loved the narrators as always

Loved this story , carefully written
15years age gap romance. the writer did a fantastic job writing this sensitive story. The main characters were very carefully written so that the reader falls in love with them and believe in their love. this book challenges society expectations of who we are expected to fall in love with .. I loved Kenzi s maturity and Tor was brilliant and just the sweetest but I found myself wishing he could be more of a go getter. I understand though that the writer was trying to make us see that he was a patient man who loved Kenzi and would patiently love her for eternity. the ending I felt was rushed thats why I gave it 4 🌟 ... I won't spoil it for anyone but I'm hoping in book 2 Tied kenzi and Tor will pop in and we will get to see how their doing. Will also read Asher and hope Kenzi and Tor will pop in there too..thats how much I'm invested in their story. Will recommend this book to those with an open mind

I didn’t think I would like it. .
Very good story. Kept me captivated throughout. A story of the mother might be nice.

Love it, great performance
I’m so fussy with narrators but I loved both of these. This type of trope for me is borderline pushing it, but I think the way the author wrote it was very beautiful and didn’t come across predatory at all, I can’t wait to read/ listen to the next one.

Great love story
Bought this as it was a story connected with A& E, although this is about their daughter and best friend Torn I found it engaging and very romantic. This a age difference romance which in this case works.
Love the narrators and I really recommend this if you love the Asher and Embers stories.

Loved the audible version of this wonderful book
I loved reading Torn originally so just had to purchase the audible version and I wasn't disappointed. The characters come to life even more so thanks to the wonderful narrators. I can't wait to read and hear future books by Carian
