I felt every emotion with this, frustration,anger, happiness and I actually cried! Be patient it's a long listen but worth it 👍🏻

This was a deep, raw, emotional book. I really loved Blue and Piper's beautiful, tender romance. The characters felt real. The dialogue was realistic. The story was sad and unflinching with a stronge message to anyone who doesnt understand mental illness but it also made me swoon and fall in love.

Piper's first sexual encounter with Blue left me feeling a little shocked but I'm glad I continued to read. infact, the further I got in the more I couldn't put it down. I cried on numerous occasions while I was reading this book as well as listening to it after.

5 out of 5 * for narration.

I'm now a great fan of the author and have read many of her books since but this book is my favourite so far.

What a read. It's long, but I actually loved that - I usually get so sad when I finish a book because I want to hear more from the characters I love, but finally this was a story I could really sink my teeth into and feel like I've got the whole thing. Will be reading again 100000%. Beautiful yet tragic love story. Only just found Carian's books but o.m.g! Will be reading more.

Amazing dual narration from Jillian Macie and Aiden Snow

This book has romance but also delas with depression, mental illness, suicidal tendency, and substance abuse.
Blue. one minute I liked him, the next I hated his attitude, he was homeless. Piper was a naive, her love was unconditional. She gave Blue everything and never asked for anything in return. She loved him at his best and loves him at his worst. A heart-breaking story.

I couldn't put this book down! There were moments when I was crying so hard I had to stop and wipe my Kindle😢 I love this book, and I'm sure will read again. I have done with all the others this author has written.

The emotional rollercoaster I have endured with this book🥺. Would definitely recommend. definitely worth every minute. I cried , laughed , learned, loved hated and loved again!!

I feel like these characters will be with me for a while. I loved it, the narrators were amazing and the story was so deep and thought provoking. Blue and Pipers love story was full of highs and lows, and the mental health struggles were demonstrated really well throughout the book and written in an accurate and sympathetic way. This book is deep (check TW), it had me in tears more times than I can count but if you’re looking for something with a powerful love story and have a couple of days to dedicate to it (you won’t be able to stop listening once you start!) I would highly recommend giving it a listen.

I found the start quite slow, but once I was over half way I couldn’t get enough and found every excuse to pop my headphones back in and continue listening. I loved how the second half of the book gave lots of references to the first half, so sometimes when it felt like certain chapters had a lot of detail, I was glad of it towards the end when lots of things clicked into place.

If you’re thinking of listening or reading, I would make a suggestion to avoid searching it on TikTok/Instagram until you’ve finished it as loads of accounts have put major spoilers out there without any warning so as soon as you search the title you’ll see two major plot lines straight away.

Yes a love story, too long. I'm sure this is how some people's love stories are. But could have been a lot shorter. the time it took him to come back and them being together 3 years here and there. Not sure there are many young people their age who would have stood by with no contact for that amount of time, but children definitely help to heal old wounds and help to ease the passage of time. On reflection, I think I would also be one to stand by him and wait. True Love can stand the test of time and anything else that is thrown at it. Love truly and Deeply.
